Bring your fashion or jewellery business to the Market Visit to Japan in November with UK Fashion Exports (UKFE). The mission, in association with British Jewellery and GiftwareExports (BJGE) and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) London Region, will provide UK companieswith a unique chance to visit Japan with a small sample range, make appointments with buyers, press and agents; make new business contacts in this market, and conduct valuable market research.

Your programme is for you to arrange but UKFE and BJGE can provide advance assistance. For an additional cost UK Trade & Investment can conduct research to provide you with a ready-made database of interested contacts in Japan as well as make appointments for you during your stay. To commission this service please contact your local UK Trade & Investment office immediately.

A limited number of travel grants are available for eligible companies from UKTI. Those companies which commission market research (OMIS) to build up their own programmes for the week in Japan, will be given priority when applying for a grant.

The Market Visit to Japan includes

• A compulsory briefing at the Embassy in Tokyo on the morning of 17th November.
• Reception Showcase on the same afternoon, including a rail, a table or a jewellery    case as required.
• An optional dinner is planned later in the week.
